The VBFC and Turning Point Ensemble are proud to co-present Kaija Saariaho’s La Passion de Simone, a powerful and contemplative musical meditation on the life and legacy of philosopher, activist, and mystic Simone Weil, blending orchestra, choir, and solo soprano in a deeply moving exploration of faith, justice, and humanity. Featuring renowned soprano Robyn Driedger-Klassen, with choreography by Idan Cohen and featuring dancer Alexis Fletcher and lighting designer Victoria Bell, join us for this powerful musical and visual experience on May 8, 7:30pm at the Vancouver Playhouse!
