As we celebrate 95 years of singing together, the Vancouver Bach Family of Choirs proudly presents a season of powerful performances, cherished traditions, and bold new works. Weaving together cinematic collaborations, festive favourites, and both Canadian and world premieres, our 2025–26 season is diverse and vibrant.

With nine choirs for singers aged 4 through adulthood, VBFC is one of the largest and most respected choral organizations in Western Canada. We invite you to experience the joy, artistry, and community that define our legacy.

Our 2025-26 Main Stage Concert Series

• Phantom of the Opera – Oct 27, 8pm, Orpheum – Silent film with live score. Tickets are already available for this performance.
• Bach Christmas Oratorio – Dec 6, 7:30pm, St. Andrews Wesley – A unique opportunity to hear this masterpiece performed in full.
• Christmas with the Bach Choir – Dec 7, 2pm, Orpheum – a festive celebration for the whole family.
• Behind the Keys – Feb 13, 7:30pm, Annex – An intimate Valentines fundraiser featuring Leslie Dala at the piano.
• The Canadian premiere of the chamber arrangement of Dame Ethel Smyth’s Mass in D Major – Feb 28, 7:30pm, Orpheum – Plus the Canadian premiere of Kati Agócs Hosanna of the Clouds.
• SpringSong – March 10, 7pm, Pacific Spirit United Church – a Vancouver Bach Children’s Choir concert exploring music on the theme of journeying.
• SummerSing – May 10, 2pm, Chan Centre – joyful showcases of youth and adult ensembles.
• The world premiere of Mother/Land – May 16, 7:30pm, Vancouver Playhouse – a powerful new opera-oratorio about immigration and loyalty, written by Jeffrey Ryan and Michael Lewis MacLenna.
