The Vancouver Bach Choir joins the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra for Mahler’s Third Symphony!

Experience one of the most monumental works in the orchestral repertoire as the Vancouver Bach Choir collaborates with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 at the Orpheum. Under the baton of Maestro Otto Tausk, this epic symphony — renowned for its expansive emotional landscape and stunning final movements — features mezzo-soprano Rihab Chaieb and the powerful choral forces of the VBC. Mahler famously said a symphony “must be like the world — it must embrace everything,” and this performance delivers that world-spanning vision in a breathtaking celebration of sound.
