DESCRIPTION:The whole family of choirs joins together to perform folk songs at the Chan Centre on May 10th at 2pm! Celebrating folk songs\, this concert is a beloved kick-off for warmer summer months.  \nEnjoy performances by the Vancouver Bach Children’s Choirs ensembles: Piccolo\, Tocata\, Partita\, Chorus\, Chorale\, and our adult ensembles: Sarabande\, Cantabile\, and the Symphonic Choir (Vancouver Bach Choir). \n SummerSing features all the choirs of the VBFC family\, and offers singers from age 4 through adulthood to come together to experience the magic of singing together! DESCRIPTION:The Vancouver Bach Choir joins the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra for Mahler’s Third Symphony! \nExperience one of the most monumental works in the orchestral repertoire as the Vancouver Bach Choir collaborates with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 at the Orpheum. Under the baton of Maestro Otto Tausk\, this epic symphony — renowned for its expansive emotional landscape and stunning final movements — features mezzo-soprano Rihab Chaieb and the powerful choral forces of the VBC. Mahler famously said a symphony “must be like the world — it must embrace everything\,” and this performance delivers that world-spanning vision in a breathtaking celebration of sound.  \nTWO performances: May 29 at 7:30pm  |  May 30 at 7:30pm.
