Aaron Dora (He/Him) brings a wealth of experience from over six years in arts administration in Australia.
Aaron has held programming positions in prominent Australian arts organisations including Queensland Music Festival, Opera Queensland, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, and Camerata Chamber Orchestra. His career has seen him produce large-scale commercial music festivals for audiences of thousands, to small gigs with kids choirs in remote outback towns, and everything in between.
Aaron’s arts career began in theatre, and he holds a BFA (Drama) from Queensland University of Technology. Complimenting his administrative career, Aaron has had experience as an actor, director, and writer.
As a newcomer to Canada, outside of work Aaron can be found exploring the hikes and scenery of Canada’s natural landscapes and exploring the local bars and restaurants. Aaron is also working on a new play and book of poetry.
Aaron Dora is excited to immerse himself in the Vancouver Bach Choir Community, and apply his energies to support exceptional music and music-making experiences for singers, families, artists, and audiences.
